Music To Tailgate By

As you probably know, or maybe you don't know, in which case we'll tell you, SKICKS is obsessed with tailgates. We want to be at the biggest, loudest, most social tailgates, and with the best food, of course. But it takes just the right ingredients to put together a successful tailgate. There are key components not to be missed, and high up on that list is music.

Some people are lucky enough to have a DJ among their group of friends, which is different than having a normal DJ. Normal DJs play “Levels” by Avicii at least 3 times in a tailgate. But the friend group DJ (to be known as the FGDJ going forward) won’t make that mistake. Every friend group is different. There are inside jokes that make the whole crew laugh. There are specific boys/ girls that the entire crew hates. And (Do you see where I’m going with this yet?) every friend group has a handful of songs that gets their blood pumping. The FGDJ knows exactly what songs will rally the group. Once the hosts of the party are pumped, everyone is pumped. It’s really much more complicated then picking a single song.

With that being said, there are people who don’t have a FGDJ. *GASP* I know, it’s sad to think about. Those poor people are floundering, looking for some guidance in order to fill their tailgate party with sweet, sweet music. Well, fear not. Being a people pleaser, I have put together a list of “bangers,” if you will. These songs will bring your tailgate to life, I'm sure of it. Here is the playlist to compete with all playlists:
